Bob Johnson started racing 4 cylinders in 1995 campaining at Blackrock Speedway and Woodhull Raceway. He spent the next three years honing his skills before moving up to the Super Stock class (now BRP class) at Blackrock.

Bob ran this class for three years with moderate success before hitting the financial wall. Forced to sell his car, he "retired" from racing.

Bob got the bug again in 2006 when a new class was introduced at the local tracks. The "Crate" modified class caught his eye as this was an opportunity to race what he had always dreamed of driving ( a NE modified) while not breaking the bank. A 2003 Bicknell was purchased in June of 2007 and Bob ran a few races that summer at Blackrock.

In 2008 the party moved to Woodhull Raceway where Bob ran a semi- regular schedule. In 2009 He decided to race the full season at Woodhull and has had a decent season with a couple of shinning moments....Stay Tuned
